Needs Analysis of Students’ Pro-Environmental Behavior for Climate Change Books

Background and objective: Climate change is a current issue that need to be solved by innovation in environmental education. However, efforts specifically develop teaching material based on the learning needs of students related climate has not been given attention. This study aims describe Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) as basis for development an educational known Change Book Series (CCBS-US).Methods: It entailed descriptive research design survey method, involving sample 642 Jakarta Semarang, Indonesia. The data were treated using statistics. Data analysis ANOVA test see significant difference between each group.Results: results indicate university students’ PEB score high while school moderate. lowest average found aspects reducing garbage recycling. Details Junior (74.49), senior (66.28), Faculty Math Science (73.69), Non-Faculty (72.27).Conclusion: along these inputs CCBS-US must developed hoped this study, can significantly empower students' scores classroom learning.
